this first mixtape I decided to download because i've always wanted to hear more from this guy. Straight out of Leimert park LA, california is Dom Kennedy, style is straight westcoast, but more lyrical then your typical westcoast cat. this past week I read some disturbing news, one of my favorite players of this decade will no longer be with my beloved chargers. Ladainian Tomlinson has come out and said he feels he is done in san diego and he won't be back, this saddens me because he is one of THE biggest reason why the chargers are the team they are today. Not only will i miss seeing him play on sundays, but the city of san diego will miss a person like LT. you will be missed LT, and where ever you land i'm buying your jersey!

WE THE CHAMPS!

Pac Div finally came out with their latest mixtape, The Church League Champions. It took a long time for them to release the mixtape, but ohhh boooy the wait was well worth it. Pac Div is a hip hop trio from LA, and they're not your typical westcoast act, if youre a backpacker/hip hop head youll like if not love thier stuff. The trio comes off with a lyrical style that can be compared to other westcoast acts like hieroglyphics, and living legends. what were you expecting some G shit?, naw. I could go ON and ON about how dope Pac Div is, but you'll just have to listen for yourself

Universal Mind Control

YES! my first music purchase of the year is a good one. I went to best buy to get a case for my psp and said "i might as well get the new common while im here", and you know what, i don't regret it at all. Just listening through this album once i can already say its one of the better albums thats come out this past year. It's kinda like a "feel good" album, common sounds like he had fun putting this album together along with executive producer pharrell williams, my personal favortie track on this album is "make my day" feat. cee-lo
